You’ll write the words that motivate our learners to keep up their daily habit, and you’ll explore messaging and tones of voice that strike a chord with our audience. As a writer, you’ll join a culture of creativity and craft, where we have a high bar for excellence and an endless curiosity about how to bring more unexpected quirk and fun to the pursuit of learning. 🧠 You will... Write copy that encourages learning and keeping up a daily habit Flex the Duolingo voice in copy across the Duolingo app and related surfaces Write our (in)famous push notifications Come up with new messaging angles to test Write in the voice of our characters, from Lily to Falstaff Partner with product designers and product managers on new product interactions based on data and insights Focus on a few projects at a time and drive them to completion Support experiments and share insights so product wins can have a greater impact Work with our localization team to ensure A+ translation Report to the Director of Product Writing.
