We’re looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to join Discord’s global tax team and play a hands-on role in shaping our tax function as we scale. You’ll own work across corporate income tax, indirect tax, tax provisions, and global operations—partnering directly with Finance, Engineering, Legal, and external advisors. This is a high-visibility role where your contributions will directly influence how Discord navigates complex, multi-jurisdictional tax challenges during a period of rapid global growth. You’ll tackle novel tax questions that come with building a platform used by over 200 million people worldwide—from digital services taxes to multi-entity structuring—and have real ownership over the solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and intellectually curious, with a strong foundation in domestic and global indirect taxation and a desire to contribute to a high-impact tax function. What you'll be doing Manage indirect tax compliance end-to-end—prepare, analyze, and monitor Sales and Use tax, VAT/GST, and other obligations across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with external advisors to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and international corporate income tax returns, and own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision process including supporting schedules and documentation.
