As a Senior Accountant on the Capital Markets Accounting team within Finance, you'll own the accounting and regulatory reporting foundation for Coinbase's registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) and Broker-Dealer entities. This team sits at the core of our expanding retail and institutional derivatives and brokerage businesses, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness. You'll lead close processes, drive reporting to regulators and leadership, and strengthen the control environment as these entities scale. What you'll do: Own all aspects of monthly accounting close for the FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and quarterly/annual financial results. Drive timely submission of all required regulatory reporting to the CFTC, NFA, and other applicable agencies, ensuring daily filing deadlines are met.
