As an Accounting Manager, Prime Financing, you'll join the Accounting team within Finance and own the end-to-end accounting function for Coinbase's prime financing and brokerage business. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Prime Brokerage and Digital Assets, you'll build processes and controls from the ground up, lead a team through monthly close and quarterly/annual reporting, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting as this business scales. What you'll do: Own the review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness through each close cycle. Build scalable, automated financial processes and controls for the prime financing function, including drafting standard operating procedures that reduce manual effort and support SOX compliance. Lead your team through the monthly financial close, quarterly reporting, and annual audit processes, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are audit-ready. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting insights on SEC regulations and lending practices, translating regulatory developments into actionable accounting guidance.
