The Role As a Global People Operations Specialist, you'll help power the day-to-day operations that support employees across Slice's global workforce. You'll own critical people processes across the US and Canada, including benefits administration, employee lifecycle management, leave administration, compliance, employee support, and coordination with payroll and HR systems. This is a highly operational role for someone who enjoys creating order, solving problems, and delivering excellent employee experiences. You'll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while ensuring the details behind the scenes are handled accurately and efficiently. You'll inherit strong foundations, but you'll also have the opportunity to improve processes and help shape what's next. From supporting our upcoming HiBob implementation to helping modernize our employee support workflows, you'll play an important role in building the future of People Operations at Slice. Key focus areas include: Administering benefits programs across the US and Canada and serving as a primary point of contact for employee questions. Managing leave of absence programs, workers' compensation administration, and related employee communications. Owning employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers
