About the Role This is a very exciting opportunity to join Verkada’s growing legal team as its first and lead Global Corporate Counsel. You will report directly to the General Counsel and work hand–in-hand with Verkada’s executive leadership as a trusted legal advisor on a wide variety of corporate legal issues across the company. Your first priority will be to guide us through IPO readiness, and then lead the company’s legal strategy behind its capital structures, public company reporting obligations, corporate governance, complex transactions, board management, and regulatory compliance. From day one, you will need to roll up your sleeves and do the work, as you will operate on a lean team of “one” while you lay the foundation necessary to scale our global corporate legal function and eventually build a rockstar team.
