Job Title: SEO Lead (Local SEO & Google Business Profile — Home Services) Location: Remote Time Zone: US Time Zones (EST–PST) Role Overview We are hiring a highly experienced SEO Lead with deep, hands-on experience in home-services and service-based industries to lead and scale SEO delivery across a portfolio of US-based clients. This role is critical to performance and is not suitable for candidates without direct experience in home-services SEO (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, roofing, junk removal, cleaning, painting). You will own strategy and execution across local SEO, Google Business Profile (GBP), service-area businesses (SABs), competitive metro markets, and multi-location/franchise environments . This is a hands-on role focused on rankings, map pack visibility, calls, and booked jobs—not theory or generic SEO. You’ll work closely with content, development, paid media/LSA teams, and account strategy to execute clear SEO plans and deliver measurable organic growth for service-based businesses. Key Responsibilities Own SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of home-services clients (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, remodeling, junk removal, painting, cleaning, etc.) Build and maintain SEO roadmaps covering technical SEO, local visibility, content, GBP optimization, and link acquisition Lead scalable SEO processes, templates, QA checks, and reporting standards across accounts Stay current on Google algorithm updates, local SEO changes , AI-influenced search behavior, and E-E-A-T considerations specific to service businesses Clearly prioritize actions that drive map pack rankings, organic leads, and phone calls Local SEO & Google Business Profile (GBP) Drive consistent GBP ranking improvements across primary and surrounding service areas Optimize categories, services, attributes, service areas, photos/videos, citations, and trust signals Conduct
