Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets

What You’ll Do Own the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle: capitalization, transfers, disposals, write-offs, tagging and impairment assessments in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 360). Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness against the general ledger. Calculate and record monthly depreciation for all asset classes (GPU hardware, data center infrastructure, leasehold improvements, furniture & fixtures, and software). Partner with Supply Chain and DC Ops teams to evaluate capital vs. expense treatment for new hardware and infrastructure purchases. Prepare and review fixed asset roll-forward schedules, depreciation schedules, cash flow schedules, and supporting documentation for monthly and quarterly close. Support external audit requests related to fixed assets, including providing schedules, reconciliations, and explanations of accounting positions. Assist in the development and enforcement of the company’s capitalization policy and related accounting procedures. Identify and implement process improvements to the fixed asset tracking and close processes, leveraging automation where possible. Collaborate with Tax to provide fixed asset data for tax depreciation schedules and support tax provision work. Assist in financial statement disclosures related to PP&E as part of the quarterly and annual reporting process.
