NETGEAR is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the development of the Enterprise Access Point product line. This role is responsible for managing and mentoring a high-performing engineering team while driving the delivery of robust, high-quality Wi-Fi 7 hardware and software solutions. You will work closely with product management, systems, QA, and operations teams to deliver enterprise-grade wireless products that meet performance, reliability, and schedule commitments. Key Responsibilities Technical & People Leadership Lead and manage a team of firmware and/or systems engineers developing Wi-Fi access points Provide technical direction, architecture guidance, and design review leadership Mentor engineers, support career growth, and build a strong ownership culture Program Execution Own execution plans, schedules, and deliverables for assigned product releases Drive on-time delivery across multiple parallel development tracks Identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation plans Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Product Management to translate requirements into technical execution Work with QA, Systems, and Sustaining teams to ensure product quality and field readiness Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing and production readiness Quality & Reliability Ensure best practices in design, code quality, reviews, and test coverage Drive root-cause analysis for defects and field issues Champion reliability, performance, and security across the product lifecycle Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 13+ years of experience in networking or embedded systems development 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams Strong experience with Wi-Fi / wireless networking technologies Proven ability to lead cross-functional development efforts Skills Strong C programming on Linux/Embedded Systems Embedded Linux exposure / Linux networking Stack Ne
