About the Role As a Software Engineer on Socure’s Document Verification (DocV) team, you will play a key role in building and enhancing the core server-side components that power large-scale identity verification. You’ll develop critical microservices and APIs responsible for document capture, processing, and verification—integrating with advanced machine learning models to ensure ID authenticity and detect fraud. Your contributions will enable millions of users to verify their identities quickly and securely, strengthening Socure’s reputation for trust, speed, and security. What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain scalable backend services: Design, build, and support robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs for identity document processing and verification. Ensure systems are reliable and performant at high scale. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Data Science/Machine Learning, and Infrastructure teams to deliver new document verification features. Translate product requirements and ML model outputs into efficient backend solutions within an agile environment.
