Find the Real Problem

  1. Install React Developer Tools → Profiler tab → record an interaction → see which components rendered and how long they took.
  2. Turn on "Highlight updates when components render" to see unnecessary re-renders.
  3. Chrome Lighthouse / Performance tab for load time, bundle size, long tasks.
  4. Measure in a production build: development mode is much slower.
