What is Data-Driven Testing
Same Steps, Different Data
In data-driven testing the test steps are written once and the data comes from outside: a method, a CSV file, an Excel sheet or a database. Each data row becomes its own test result.

row 2: [email protected] wrong error --+--> loginTest(email, password, expected)

- Add a new case by adding a row, without touching Java code. Manual testers can maintain the data.
- One failing row does not stop the other rows.
- Covers boundary values (empty, very long, special characters, Unicode names like "Ānanya") cheaply.
