Selenium Manager and Browser Drivers

Drivers Are Downloaded for You

Each browser needs a matching driver (chromedriver for Chrome 130 etc.). Since Selenium 4.6, a built-in tool called Selenium Manager finds your browser version and downloads the right driver automatically into ~/.cache/selenium.

Tip: If your office network blocks downloads, ask for the driver to be placed on the PATH; Selenium Manager will use it.
