A Learning Path
- Testing basics (this module).
- Core Java (see the Java material) — variables, loops, collections, OOP.
- Selenium WebDriver: locators, actions, waits (basic and medium levels).
- TestNG, Maven, data-driven tests (medium level).
- Page Object Model, framework design, Grid, CI/CD (advance level).
- Interview practice (interview level).
Note: In India, freshers usually join service companies (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture) as testers and move to automation within a year or two. Product companies hire SDETs who code as well as developers.
